Blogging 101 : Best tip for avoiding bloggers block

Last weeks post we focused more on the niche of your blog so now since you finally (hopefully) pinned down your niche its time to be delivering those amazing posts day after day and its so easy , right? hah!!! not at all actually , I can see you nodding in agreement .

That is actually the hardest part of blogging is finding the inspiration to write new posts there is those golden weeks where you can write 5 posts a day and then the (cue horror music) bloggers block sets in and you super stumped . Well here is my personal experience on the matter , I know this may sound contradictory to one post I wrote where I said read some of your favorite blogs to get inspired I meant read it like you would in the past pre blogging ,read a post and move on with your day,  let me tell you if you sit behind your computer reading posts after posts , trying to find inspiration on social media and reading your favorite blogs which 9/10 are those really successful amazing blogs with the perfect pictures and 187 comments ,honey you will feel overwhelmed. The best thing I can say is ....

This is so important ,remember when I had that growing to do list and I took a tiny breather wow it helped A LOT! Stepping away from that computer of your's will clear your mind you will feel open to new ideas as a lifestyle blogger we find inspiration by living , cooking and taking care of ourselves where do you think all those DIY make your own lip balm posts come from?? Step away from the computer and live a little and you will see there will be a new post popping into mind, now this is just my opinion on the matter maybe you have another way of dealing with bloggers block and if you do please share that wisdom with your comments , I would love your input.

Sending you tons of love and good vibes for the day ahead.

  4. This is definitely very good advice! I think it happens to all of us that we get overwhelmed with it all and then can't write any quality posts. Taking a step back is definitely a great way to get creative again!

  7. 100% - it's great to get inspiration through blogs and Pinterest, but you need to live and take in everything that is around you. Inspiration and creativity is everywhere, you just need to look ;-)

  11. I'm not a lifestyle blogger as you know, but I can get blogger's block sometimes too! I've found that I get the best outfit ideas when I'm out and about doing something random as opposed to staring at my closet! So, I keep a running note on my phone to jot down ideas when they come to me :)

  13. Awesome tips! I also find when you have a lot to say on a subject matter, sometimes its better to not write excessively long posts but rather do 2 or 3 posts on the subject at hand which always gives your readers something to follow up on.
Love your blog, I saw you retweeted by @SABloggers and I'm a new fan!

  14. Great advice, I rarely ever am away from my computer and it really makes you dull and confused.
I think I am also less creative since spending so many hours here.

  16. You are right... many times we think being on the computer almost 24/7 will help...but it doesn't. I can personally testify that when i get off the computer, life moves more smoothly and new ideas come spontaneously.
