Healthiness on fleek

I've been sharing more about my fitness routine on snapchat and I must say getting back on track has been really amazing. I have definitely been more a yo-yo fitness person. But I started tweaking small habits daily and eventually now have build myself a 80% healthy lifestyle. It works for me because I do love indulgences but if I know I have eaten fairly clean all week, I don't see the point of depriving myself from enjoying a glass of wine or even from having a slice of pizza.

Crazy thing is this has yielded better results than when I was eating clean 100%. Now I have no huge sugar cravings or even take away cravings as I had in the past while on other diets, i'm sure you get what I mean.

Its been a slow transition and while yes I haven't dropped extreme weight like I would by going on lets say the cabbage diet its still shows quite an improvement. It feels great to find something that I can maintain for a long period of time. Truth is I want to look bikini ready all year round not only after 3 months of insane dieting.

If you looking for tips to have a lifestyle makeover, here are a few things that helped me:

  • Don't deprive yourself of anything. Instead make healthy swaps, love cake try my healthy mug cake. Bake with oats or protein powder like my protein pancakes. Craving some salty crunch try this lemon and herb Kale chips
  • Find an exercise routine that you love, exercise doesn't have to be a major hour of punishment. Personally I love zumba because I am a latin music and dance kind of girl.
  • Don't get on the scale instead see results based on how your clothes fit. Healthy is way more than just the number on the scale.
  • Incorporate more fruit and veges in your diet.

Let me know if you would like a more detailed  post on my new healthy lifestyle and if you on snapchat leave your username in the comments, mine is Meghanssilva1 if you keen to follow. Have any healthy lifestyle tips for me?

  2. I agree, the moment you start depriving yourself of things it's going to go wrong. You need to stay motivated. There has to be a balance.
