Is there anything better than guilt free desserts? wanna eat dessert for breakfast go right ahead, wanna have cake for a snack... uh yeah! Its literally a game changer. The minute healthier options are available and you don't feel like you basically punishing yourself eating clean works. I am a huge believer these days in, transform your favorites into healthier options and enjoy them!
Life is meant to be lived people, its meant to be something you thank whatever higher power you believe in, in my case God Almighty for blessing you with another day. Which includes enjoying yummy food.
With that said eating clean will assist in having the best life. Clean eating is not lettuce and one slice of tomato here people, its replacing the bad stuff with more natural options. Eat pasta but make it whole wheat etc. you get the point.
I have spent hours whipping up healthier substitutes in my life, and dessert is one of those things that when you get it right it hits all the sweet spots you so desperately craving. Which I mean seriously sums it up as winning at life, so I am really thrilled to share this recipe with my sweet tooth tribe members out there.
This is my take on a delicious mug cake:
- 1/4 cup oat flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tbs cocoa powder
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- Mix all the ingredients in your mug of choice.
- If you wanna easily slide it out of the mug, mix in a bowl and then pour it into a greased mug.
- Pop into the microwave for a minute and enjoy.
