This Saturday Six I would like to dedicate it to my dad and my best friend my dad for his birthday and my bestie for the birth of her gorgeous lil one , I often wonder how is it that I am so blessed to know and have so many amazing people in my life . Life is certainly about to change for all of us and I just hope that all our journeys bring upon great joy to our lives. I really hope you all have had a great "something" happen in your lives this week and If you would like to please share them with me in your comments , what has happened this week in your life?

~my dad is not a fan of sweet things so I made this lightly sweetened cupcake for him instead~

Because this post is dedicated to my dad and bestie of many many many years like easily 20 + years I thought let me share 1 fact about each of them . My dad is a lover of learning and because of that he has been inspirational in how I challenge myself to learn new things . My dad is the type of guy who will say Meg if you want to drill , drill ! and at the end of the day I am pretty sure he has regretted it haha. We fight we laugh but more importantly we love.

~I have been craving clean healthy food!~

My bestie is Melissa who has been my strength my joy and my get crazy buddy without judgment , Mel is very boho and zen like without even trying I admire how she see doesn't need anything from anyone , I admire how no matter what she has been by my side (I am getting pretty emo writing this post bear with me) I really could not imagine a child who will be more loved guided and blessed as the new addition to my family lil Riley .

~Sangria ... yum!~

~If there is one place I miss its La bella in Durban this dish brought back many food memories~

~Can someone please give me a Tortilla soup recipe that doesn't contain Avo...HELP!~

Yes, its always a blessing to have nice, good, loving people around us. Be that I will be here if something interesting happens in my life. So far, blessed to have a beautiful weather, a roof, friends, food and other things that I may not even see.
That cupcake may be light in sugar but looks delicious. I am a sugar monster. :)
