As 2012 comes to an end and 2013 is at the door ,I feel this amazing rush of  energy...

I don't know about you but I'm amped for 2013

silly people... only God knows when the world will end ... 

I really am sooooo amped for this new year ... this year has been challenging but sharing my life with you has been a beautiful highlight ... one of my many goals this year was to start a blog ,something I can be proud of.... iv achieved a few others but this short period together has been a blessing

i wanna thank all you amazing people who regularly visit my blog , my loving friends and family new and old for adding some color to this black and white world ... to the good merciful Lord who has brought me through this year all in one piece ...

Meet Mila Silva

Our family has been very blessed as of late with many trial times this year we finally out of the storm ... and God has this amazing way of thanking you in his own significant way ... when He thanks you trust me ... you will know ...

Yesterday my dad surprised us with a new addition to the family , my mom isn't much of a dog person but us 3 siblings are thrilled ... and our cousin Michael who is visiting for the holidays is just as thrilled ... my sister has wanted a puppy for so so long so she is in charge of lil miss Mila

This beauty is named Mila Silva our blessing

All you smell is a scent of amazing food being prepared coming  from the kitchen, fryer is going , Cesaria Evora playing in the back ground my brother busy whipping up something scrumptious and that amazing scent of fresh prawns ...

on the menu for breakfast this morning is Prawn tampura on a bed of rockets lettuce and herbs with sweet chilli sauce and some lemon juice

Is romance extinct ?

In a world where women have more power than ever before and we loving it , in a world where men feel inadequate, in a world of technology, in a world of no time to even phone loved ones .... where has romance gone... are we to blame?? i think so ... are we lazier when it comes to love ? 

So many us look at old couples and say oh how i long for that kind of love , but are we ever willing to work for it ... 

Phone calls replace face to face conversations, status updates become how we communicate our joy and disappointments I'm far from pointing fingers, better yet ill point them at myself ... lazy for love and in the same breathe craving this love...

My opinion is men feel powerless even if they don't say it and women feel like they missing a chunk of that romance and it seems like a fairy tale that will not happen,maybe not the feminists ... but i know i feel that way ... #confession from a closet romantic .

My late grand dad would tell me countless of times a man needs to fetch you from your home by knocking on your door , reality is these days we will meet the guys at the restaurant or coffee shop unless we staying together and well in that case both of us will exiting the home together...

Is there anything better than chatting over a meal whether its over breakfast lunch or supper?  the family and i often go to places with a pretty view and something interesting  surrounding it one spot i do adore  is nurseries with restaurants hidden somewhere in between, needless to say this am dad ,sister and i headed for breakfast at a restaurant called The Silver Birch ...

the decor is beautiful ... food delicious and being surrounded by a nursery with amazing flowers etc .... i die heheh  i'll let the pictures do more of the talking ;)

Wishes for 2013

  Laying awake tonight thinking deep thoughts like how to be a better person...

this year has been challenging in many ways it often felt like an out of body experience,however with that said the last say 6month's have been beautiful this immense sense of inner peace ...

C'est la vie , life is the best teacher , life's as great as you make it and all that jazz

so when my loved ones ask me what is my new year wish well it's to be slow to criticize and quick to appreciate, to forgive myself more ,love harder ,share more beautiful moments over great food delicious drinks in great company because after all memories last forever... oh and to take more pictures.

I'm sure with time the wish list will grow and it will go from my lips to Gods ears <3

Relaxation , Love and decadent indulgence

Before the hustle and bustle of a brand new year , before the consuming thought of what more we want to achieve in the new year we get plus minus 2/3 weeks of doing nothing but indulging in the leftovers of Christmas lunch more so the desserts ...

or if you like me watching really romantic movies and series in bed and forgetting your worries over a chilled glass of sangria ... lined up for me is The proposal ,Sex and the city , Midnight in paris , The vampire diaries, Its complicated and so forth. 

so in the affair of complete romance ill leave you with one of my favorite sex and the city movie moments
