Make your own Peonies

Recently I have become slightly obsessed with Peonies so when I found this DIY on how to make it I leaped at the chance to try my hand at it , I'm now planning to make more in a variety of colours .Are you a peonies fan and here's a good question , why? what makes them so beautiful .I think its how delicate yet bold they are .

What you need:

  • Coffee filters
  • floral tape
  • Floral wire
  • Glue
  • Scissors

1. Get your coffee filter ready (I only had really thick filters my advice is get thinner ones)
2. Fold it in half
3. Fold it again
4.Cut the inside corner (where the scissor is pointing)
With me so far?

5.Unfold it once and cut the corners to shape a heart :)
6.roughen up the edges A LOT , it makes them look more real.
7.Unfold it.
8.Bend the floral wire

you going to repeat this 2 more times , you need 3 different sizes large medium and small in total.
Its the final countdown !!!

9. Now I'm sorry I haven't got a better picture but you will take the small cut and folded filters and pull them through the floral wire and then dropping a bit of glue in the first filter closest to the bent wire .
10. twist the filter and  then use the floral tape too secure it.
11. Do the same with the medium and large filters minus the glue , all you need to secure them with is the floral tape, large has to be at the very bottom.

And finally you are left with a gorgeous floral arrangement .
