Beauty Talk : Reviews

Happy Monday everyone , I thought I'd start the week off with a little beauty talk , you know to set the week off to a beautiful start but before I get started with the post I hope you all had a fun weekend its been so chilly this side that all I wanted to do was snuggle up in bed with some Shiraz but there were things that needed to be done ! Okay so back to the post today I have 3 reviews coming your way, primer , scrub and eye cream!

Verdict :

I had really high hopes regarding this product , my mind raced with thoughts like bag free forever however I didn't see much change regarding the bags department and I wasn't a fan of not knowing how much I had left so I constantly tried to squeeze a tiny amount at a time as not to waste but I must say my skin around my eyes felt really nourished with that said , would I purchase it again, no I'd rather try something else ,the search for the perfect anti bags and wrinkle cream is still on.

Verdict:
Primers were a total new discovery for me and this Claudia Stevens foundation base primer was a purchase that made me a primer believer , love the neat packaging and even though it is a squeeze tube too you can totally feel how much you have left. My makeup lasts for a full day and my skin feels oh so silky even whilst going through a break out , would I purchase it again , yes yes and yes!

Verdict :
Let me first say this , scrubs are very important to my skin care routine I often make my own and it works like a charm but this Claudia Stevens brand had me interested I mean the primer is amazing so why not try their scrub, in my opinion its perfect for those with dry skin , its got a creamy texture but its rough enough to do the job. But here's the thing that will totally contradict what I just said , would I buy it again? no I would rather invest in a home made mixture or something for oily skin.

Now here's an interesting question , tell me about your worst beauty product purchase ,I look forward to hearing from you xo

  1. I've recently started using the Smashbox primer and I am loving that one too! I feel like it makes my wrinkles a little less noticeable too:) Win-win!

  2. Great beauty reviews! You would love Elle Sees blog. She makes a lot of facial masks herself. I love Smashbox photofinish primer. Zoya nail polish didn't work for me.

  3. Great review :) Where did you purchase the Claudia Stevens products? I recently bought a lip balm stain from Revlon. The color looked horrible on me. It didn't look bright in the shops but when I put it on I had bright pink/fuchsia lips, it did not look good.

  5. Where did you get the Claudia Stevens primer? :)

I think my worst beauty buy would have to be the Yardley Glow Illuminator. It smells weird, it dried out my cheeks and it didn't really illuminate indoors. But as soon as you went outside... hello disco ball!

  8. Hi dear!

I love your reviews and I was very curious about the primer! Primers are excellent, make the makeup last longer and leave the skin very soft and velvety! Pena did not have that brand here in Brazil. But we have some very good too!

  9. I've had quite a bit of unlucky beauty product purchases. One of my worst was a drug store eye cream. It was my first time trying it but I must have had a bad reaction to that specific brand/formula since I developed a rash and it didn't go away for a bit. It scared me to use any other drug store brand!

  10. Too bad about that eye cream! I'm not sure what my worst beauty purchase has been but I did spend wayy too much on a Lancome eye cream once that really did nothing for my skin. So annoying!

  11. The primer sounds really good! My worst beauty purchase would probably be.... well this is an obvious one, fake MAC from Thailand as I was curious to see how it would compare... and it did not compare well at all! xx
