Blogging 101 : Is posting regularly important?

This happens to be the very last Blogging 101 series , I must say it has been such a pleasure to work with Jacy , Jezz , Laura , Marie, Erin , Kierra and Becky thank you so much to all of you ladies for making this series a huge success, this week the topic is one which many bloggers don't agree on , how often should one post . I'll add my pennies at the end of the post but for now lets hear what  Laura ,  Marie and Jacy have to say on the matter .

Be sure to let me know how you feel about posting regularly , I absolutely love reading everyone's comments. Hope you are having an amazing start to the week sending you tons of good vibes .

  2. I think that posting regulary is really important, but more important is the quality of content. Lately I have been so busy that it’s been hard to find time for the blog and I can see the difference on the my visitors traffic.
I want to know what other bloggers think, is really interesting. Thanks for your blogging tips Meghan.

    1. I use to be the type who never understood why a blogger can't update regularly but I have to say with everything going on , it does become pretty hard and I am just dealing with internet issues where as you have moved to a total new place etc I admire that you post as often as you do . Keep it up Elba and once you settled I'm sure your regular schedule will be back .

  3. I agree with everybody above. It's when you start skipping weeks and months that things start to fall apart (unless you're on vacation). I think even writing smaller posts helps. It could be on important thing just to let someone know you are there. But you also should balance your posts and commenting. Some people post a lot and don't bother to respond to their readers. If you have time to post, you should also make time to comment (at least to those that leave you a comment). Great post Meghan!!!! :D

    1. I totally agree with everything you saying , the hardest part for me these last few weeks has been not feeling like I am engaging with everyone , I love replying to every comment and reading all your latest posts and adding my opinion , life just sometimes know how to curve ball you but its all about doing the best you can . Thank you so much for always commenting honey xo

  4. I try to post twice a week. I feel like I'm going to bore my readers if I post everyday. I can't keep up with everyones blog posts myself so posting at least once a week keeps me coming back to a blog. If they skip weeks I won't keep reading.

  9. Hi Meghan!

I would love to post every day, but I lack time. Then put one day in and day not ... lol.

  10. I set an editorial schedule early on- and it's really been beneficial. My readers know when to expect posts (Tuesdays and Thursdays), and I find that it's enough to keep me busy but still keep blogging fun. :)

    Great post, Meghan (and company)!

  11. I think you should do whatever feels right for you and works for you. Blogging is fun but everyone has a different life and a different lifestyle, so what works for one person could be impossible for the other. I personally put a post online every other day. I don't want my blog to take over my life, and I know that it would if I would force myself to post daily or multiple times a day.

  12. Meghan I must say that I've really enjoyed this blogging 101 series and have taken a lot from it! I think posting regularly is important too! I mean look at Cupcakes and Cashmere...she posts almost multiple times a day! But then there is blair eadie who does it a few times a week and they are both super successful! I think it all boils down to consistency and quality over quantity:)!
