Life is too short to ...

I honestly have to say I read the above saying on Twitter and it really hit home , sometimes I am really super cautious in life, love and even in tasting new things I never used to be but in the last 2 years I have been more wary,so recently I started living with the mind frame life is too short to wait and I want to try something new all the time like the 24 year old version of myself who had no fears and lived everyday fully obviously this doesn't mean caution goes to the wind I didn't have so many life lessons not to learn anything from it you know what I mean , but , I also don't want to be grey and old (oneday ;p ) and be filled with regrets , so with that said what is one thing you are torn about trying?

  2. This quote is awesome! This is going to sound funny but I have been torn about this red(ish) dress that I bought and I'm not even sure why I am so apprehensive of wearing it but I'm working on my confidence to pull it off *cue nervous laugh*

  3. This is something I go through every day... And it's super stupid. I have enormeous fear of not succeeding in what I want. But I'm not ready to ut my whole life aside just to reach that desire, that point I want to get. So it goes slow... and sometimes I lose faith and forget how blessed I am for everything I have...

  4. This has got me thinking so much. Honestly, I have been thinking about whether or not I should do my honors next year or not. I will have my degree before I am 21 so I am still quite young and I am scared I won't do it later in life! :)

  5. I'm not a born risk taker, but... I have found time and time again that I regret the things I didn't do more than the things I did. I'm always going to be nervous about trying new things, but it's a kind of nervousness I can cope with and move through in order to have a wonderful experience. That is with the exception of all things involving water; I'm terrified of water :)

  6. I'm hoping to simply achieve being successful. Most of all, I want to be happy. I want to love where I stand in life, and I want to love where I work. I hope to have a wonderful family and to be surrounded by people who love me for who I am. I'm not willing to give up anyone for this, because everyone in my life right now are people who I love with all my heart. I would, however, give up some of my living style. I'm also hoping to further my studies and career! One step at a time. :)

  9. What a good mantra! I think so often today young people live with the mentality that "real life" can wait until you're 30 and I think there is a lot to be missed if you pretend you have time to waste.

I've always been torn by the idea of being an entrepreneur. I would love to start my own business (in the full time sense) but it's terrifying to think of trying without a big financial safety net.

    1. There really is no time to waste , I remember always hearing "you either work to fulfill your own dream or you will work to fulfill someone else's dream" but yes I totally understand the initial fears , I've been there .

Sometimes I am postponing some things and the time goes by ... Also do not want to get old lady and I do not regret what I did ... I think I should take more risks, but in practice is more difficult right?

  19. Too true! I've been trying to challenge myself for years now. I'm naturally very introverted and a home-body, but I started dancing to scare myself and now I'm wearing vintage in public a lot which can push you out of your comfort zone. But I love it and why not?! ;-)

    Terrifying but exciting.
Part of me wants to just keep on doing what I do. The other part sees so much potential around me...

  23. Considering I am old and grey (just cover it up!) I've stopped thinking and started doing. We made a summer bucket list - and of course posted it, haha, to keep us accountable - of all the things we want to do. My biggest problem is finding the time. SO, I guess I'd have to say is getting off the computer and "making" time to do them :) We seem to be making a dent though! Boring, but true!!!
Great post and it's fun to read everyone's ideas!
