28 THINGS

28 things I've learned thus far

  1. It's okay to cry .
  2. Don't use black henna if your plan is to ever dye your hair lighter ever again
  3. You will meet A LOT of guys who will break your heart , just for the fun of it.
  4. Buy shoes at the end of a shopping spree your feet kind of (gross to say) swells and the shoes you buy will just fit better in the future.
  5. Take tons of pics and save them , you will regret not capturing certain moments.
  6. Your parents are not perfect just as you are not perfect. I love you mom and dad
  7. Sometimes you will lose contact with friends it doesn't mean they weren't worthy or didn't care life just moved you in a different direction.
  8. Tanning at 9am is so bad for you , that brown shade is so not worth it.
  9. Youtube tutorials are amazing!
  10. Find something you love to do and do it often . Being happy is everything.
  11. Even though no3 happens , there are a few good guys in the world, they rare they not always the one pretending to be the good religious guy they sometimes the guy who feels he doesn't need to pretend because his mom just raised him so well, its second nature!
  12. Be creative in the kitchen trial and error is the only way you will learn.
  13. Don't be afraid to act goofy , you don't have to be perfect all the time.
  14. Everyone deserves a second chance (a SECOND chance not third fourth fifth)
  15. Everyone looks far more prettier when they smile.
  16. When you move out of your parents house you WILL miss your moms cooking and you will totally miss having your dad around when things break.
  17. If you in a relationship do not fight in public ! This one was a lesson that took long to set in my stubborn Taurean head.
  18. Guys gossip even more than girls haha yes I said it.
  19. You can never go wrong with a well fitting LBD and LWD
  20. You don't have to like everyone you don't even have to be friends with everyone but try to be civil and polite.
  21. Travel travel travel as much as you can , even if its just exploring your country.
  22. Fights with your siblings happen often but they will always be there ready to break someone apart  who hurts you. Richard and Simone thank you for being you.
  23. A best friend is someone who you don't have to see everyday or even talk to everyday but you know without a doubt you will never be alone as long as that one person is around , it can be your boyfriend husband childhood friend like mine Mel I love you honey!
  24. Death is never easy ! Every time it happens you will feel hurt but in time you do feel better and those memories of the time you had together will make you smile and cry and that's just the way it is.
  25. Try to learn something new everyday , smart is sexy!
  26. Workout!!! it takes such a short time to gain weight and forever to lose it so workout as often as possible.
  27. Always have a grateful heart that simple attitude of gratitude will make you feel so much better.
  28. Religion should be more about God's loving kindness and less about judging everyone ... thou shall not judge! No one in this world is perfect!

  7. Some great lessons but... tanning at 9am isn't okay? So better to do it in the afternoon or not at all? Just wondering.

Totally agree with traveling - yes!

    1. Like late afternoon , we have quite harsh sun here ... once(twice or thrice) I laid out around 9am and I got severe burns now I prefer 2/3pm the tan becomes more golden than red .
