Thandi Newton uses turmeric as a beauty weapon and so does my besties mom and they both look amazing , so I ended up doing some research (google) and found this awesome Turmeric Face Mask as seen on Henry Happened
- 2 tablespoons flour or oats
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 3 tablespoons milk or yogurt
- Few drops of honey

I use Turmeric in 2 ways #1 to aid with sleep I struggle to feel relaxed but a cup of turmeric milk and I'm in sleep heaven and #2 recently for my skin because lets face it Turmeric helps with wrinkles and I'm all for anything that is anti-aging .

This is so interesting, I've never heard of using tumeric as a sleep aid. Would you say it's save for children? I ask because my 2 year old has such a hard time falling asleep each night.

I've read that, 1/4 of what you would give an adult is the maximum dose for kids but as I'm not a doctor or herbalist the safest bet is too find the nearest herbalist and perhaps get better advice from him/her, its always better to do added research when it comes to kids. Xo
DeleteMeghan! I use tumeric for my skin too! My grandma puts them in these capsules for me, and I take them with my multi-vitamins!! So glad you take them too!

DeleteI literally JUST washed a honey+cinnamon concoction off of my face 20 minutes ago, but I've never heard of using turmeric! I'm definitely testing this out next time. Great tips!!
