This is how we do it ...

So this video basically embodies how I woke up and feel today (well most Fridays) I danced all the way to the bathroom and danced while making coffee and danced all the way back to my laptop , I love Fridays . I'm convinced the F in Fridays stand for FUN . Even if I have no plans on a Friday I know I can pop open some champagne or have some wine and not feel like a total alcoholic because I'm really just celebrating making it through the week. Right? 

So no weekend reading from my side (spotty internet is making it pretty impossible to find awesome new reads) this week instead I will say my favorite thing "do something different" and let me know in the comments what you think you might want to get up to tonight or this weekend or what you wish you could be doing this weekend . I guess for me since I recently started dating someone after my super long hiatus from dating , every day seems to be pretty different to my usual routine and I like it . Ooooh next week I want to talk about Secret Single Behavior so I will be taking to Twitter to get the conversation going so be sure to follow me and get involved .

Chalkboard Cafe

There's 4 words i'd use to describe Chalkboard Cafe, beers , food , chilled vibes. They also have movies shown ,happy hour they a walk away from Market on Main ,located in the Maboneng Precinct and its just such a great hangout. Need I say more?

Nostalgia

So this past weekend sitting have girl talk eating ,eating , eating ! had me feeling nostalgic for a time when I went to movies with the girls and went into a chic flick coma , my favorite kind of chick flicks are the ones that are filled with comedy and awwwww (**,) moments ,  where your mind wanders and you like (cue the music) "could this be love , could this be love " and those hilarious moments where the guy or girl is an idiot and you turn to your girls and say OH MY WORD (0_0) that happened to me remember and they laugh and you laugh and the movie ends in a chirpy tune and you have salt on your pants (because who wears skirts movies are always cold) and your cherry slush puppy is empty and you have 3 whispers chocs left but you insist on taking the whole box home , because you like wanna wake up remembering you went to movies the night before ... I can see you shaking your head texting the girls saying remember that time .... (please send them a link to this post hahah no pressure) . Okay okay so I've decided to list my favorite chick flicks in no specific order.

Roshambo,Life,Free People

Saw this video on Seeking Style a few days ago and knew I had to share it with my friends too.. firstly I love Free People & romantic movies in general , I adore Vimeo and soon I will start posting videos on there. This short film is beyond amazing ,I often play Roshambo when making decisions so this whole short film got 2 thumbs up from me, couldn't life be like that?? 

If there is one thing I do miss about having a bf or even just dating ,It is the spontaneity that takes place within your  life, one day doesn't compare to the other , oh boy! I just realized I want to start dating again.

Friday faves : Movies & Series

Those that know me know I'm a series and movie addict ...

few years back I got hit with the series bug ...

I can spend a whole weekend in front of the t.v. / or watching stuff on my laptop ...

but I'm fussy I enjoy certain things and if I get told 'hey watch this series" ill try it out, ill watch 3 episodes and if i end up not liking it I will not watch it  again like no amount of convincing will persuade me lol

I'm a taurian I'm stubborn one of my many wonderful qualities ;p

 I guess my favorite kind of setting would be cuddled up ,bottle of wine beside me ,phone off ,biltong is my snack of choice, watching something awesome either alone or in some company who are just as addicted to what we about to watch.

Nothing is more annoying than watching something with a nagging person who is not into the series or movie in my mind I'm like *shut up already and go find something else to do*
