I've learned that people love "real" posts. They love reading about your trials, your successes, your real life, day to day, "stuff". Because at the end of the day, we are all trying to make it through this one wild life!
ReplyDeleteYes that is true my most popular posts are always the ones about relationships. Odd but true.
DeleteSo true ... love it... The other thing is people think every post gets paid for and that couldn't be further from the truth.
ReplyDeleteI blog for the passion of writing, sharing, photographing and being creative!
YES thank you for saying that. It really is the craziest concept. People really just want to believe the worst about bloggers We do it because we love it.
DeleteTo be bold and confident and sometimes go out of your comfort zone and be a bit adventurous.
ReplyDeleteYou are right, there is an app for decry thing nowadays.
That's a brilliant lesson and could be applied both in blogging and real life.
DeleteLove this post Meghan xx

DeleteWow Meghan what a lovely post. :) I love these kinda posts, you're so helpful sooo, just in case you've missed this - your blog's been selected as "Blog of the Month" over at my little blog! Read more here: http://ow.ly/ufIQm
ReplyDeleteOh wow yay I totally missed it haven't been online for a week. Will head over in a minute.
DeleteBlogging is really hard, much harder than I ever thought it would be but at the same time, I fee like the fact that I have managed to make blog friends makes it fun and personal and they feel like real friends too! I wish I had looked into blogging a bit more than I did before I started but I don't regret starting it. x
ReplyDeleteNever regret starting. We a tight little community nobody gets it but us and when you look back at the body of work you have produced you will look back in pride xo
DeleteI have learned that you shouldn't worry about anyone elses blog but yours. Focus on what makes you happy and stand for what you believe in.
ReplyDeletei need a board to pin & organize my necklaces. i take forever to look for my necklaces these days. as for what i have learn from the blogging... it's a lot of hardwork and takes a lot of dedication to keep it going. and i agree with you that the best blogs are the ones that are unique. thus it's important to stay true to yourself.

That is brilliant advice. Just brilliant.
ReplyDeleteI have learned that you can only change how you see your own blog, not how others see your blog. So create something that is beautiful for YOU, that way you'll always be happy. :)

So easy Spanish!
I totally agree with your list. I'm a book blogger but I'd say that your list is pretty much universal for any kind of blog especially the fact that it's hard. I've been blogging for almost 3 years and it can be crazy!
