Horlicks Pancakes

This recipe really came to life by chance , I was out of milk and craving pancakes so I tried making it with horlicks because who doesn't love horlicks.

Here's what you need:
2 eggs
1 cup flour
1/4 cup melted salted butter
1tsp lemon juice
1tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups horlicks (stronger the better)
Icing sugar for sprinkling :)

Method:
As with most things baking related ... sift dry ingredients and separately mix all the wet ingredients then mix them all together , pull out a non stick pan and place the batter in the pan but swirl it around so you get it all covered , once you see bubbles forming using a lifter flip it over and in under 4 minutes it should be ready to be taken out . Sprinkle with icing sugar and roll it up and sprinkle it once more :).

filling options:

  • cinnamon sugar
  • strawberries and cream
  • chocolate sauce
  • crumbled up Aero mint
