Why they just don't work.

So I am always the friend willing to listen, girlfriend issues, boyfriend issues, marriage issues. You name it I have heard it. Its been a while since I gave some hardcore relationship advice on the blog. Today I want to share my very humble opinion on why I think relationships don't work.

My week in a nutshell.

My week started off preeeeeeettttty bleek but thankfully it turned around midweek. Way to often I find myself worrying about every single detail of every single thing and find myself feeling more bitter than better. If you go back and read older posts you will notice how much more positive I was and how I wanted this space to be a more of  a place where I could celebrate freedom and positivity. I am loving that towards the end of the week that's more of the path my week moved towards. Hope you had an amazing week xo

Vanilla coffee strawberry milkshake

Vanilla coffee and Strawberry milkshake might not sound really appealing but surprisingly enough it is so delicious. Sometimes experimenting in the kitchen can lead to a complete disaster, but, on some few occasions it works out. I have no idea as to why I decided to combine these 3 flavours, but I did haha.

All over the place

Sorry that the blog has been all over the place as of late, but I guess my life to has been a bit all over the place. Living 90% out of a bag these days, carting my laptop up and down, finding my own balance and then blog related finding my sweet spot again. Its been quite something. The blog is proof of it. But slowly but surely i'm starting to see a little harmony developing. All I hope for is that in the end everything works out. Which I'm sure it will. In the mean time I hope you have been enjoying getting to know me far better. I went from not sharing so much details of my life to sharing quite a lot on here. Let me know what your opinion is on that. Think of the blog as a surprise for now, you never know what you might get tomorrow.

My week

Every now and then I seem to forget about the details of what I actually get up to in the week so I have decided to "journal" in a sense about what my weeks been like whether quotes that made me smile, recipes I tried and just share more of my actual life with you guys. I think it would be a nice way to look back on the final few months of this year in more detail.

Sanctum Hand & Nail Repair

I wash my hands A LOT! while cooking I easily wash it 3 to 4 times, its just a habit I picked up somewhere along the line. With all that washing comes dry hands, so hand creams or even just lotions really are always an essential item I carry in my bag. One hand lotion I cannot get enough of is the Sanctum hand&nail repair.

FOOD Bucket list : Buttermilk Panna Cotta

Finally I have done another dessert from my food bucket list and I must be honest it turned out pretty awesome. I followed this recipe and was inspired by one of my favorite blogs out there which you can check out here. I minimized all the ingredients since I was making it for just the boyf. and myself which ended up not being enough because as murphy's law would have it he invited a friend over so it had to be divided up and luckily no one really noticed. Thankfully as any blogger knows you take the pictures before serving, riiiiight? ;). This delicious dessert is totally going to be made more frequently it was really so good!

Its a date!

With romance being a part of my life these days, I just knew I had to write a "romance based post". Why wait for valentines day?? There is so many fun things couples can do. I very seldom will actually say "hey lets do this" because a part of me still wants a guy to take charge and I have been told I am a bit dominant so I try my best not to be, but that doesn't mean I don't have several ideas or that I wont be more vocal in the future.  So here is my take on fun things to do:

Is spam an issue?

For those curious to know if since removing my word verification, have I received lots of spam comments? I am really pleased to let you know I have not *insert happy dance here*. I think I have had 2 spam kind of comments since removing the word verification, kind of meaning I don't know if they were just bloggers who didn't bother to read my post or spammers, you know the ones who when you write I had a bad day my cat died and I am in such emotional pain the comment is "yay love the post, please be sure to visit my blog". So if you feel it might benefit your readers when it comes to commenting (like I did) to remove the word verification, I am glad to announce spam won't be much of a problem.
