Hi honeys this week has been an insane week for me blogging wise , my internet has been so terrible and then I had this somewhat down moment , mainly because I love feeling productive however with the connection issues and my life revolving around the net its been quite a epic "annoying" week in my books , sometimes I think its Gods way of saying hey take a breather there missy .I am however so happy to see the new advertisements on the side bar yes 1 is yet to come but how gorgeous is the 2 so far. Today I thought let me just have some girl talk with you beauties , I have started trying out some healthier yummy recipes , I mean we all should eat healthy and yet I don't want to give up good treats so in the future I might be adding some healthy alternatives to my favorite baked treats , I also am still open to anyone who would like to feature and collaborate in the blogging 101 series an example of what you'd be a part of is this post. White chocolate carrot cookies

While sitting with a white chocolate slab staring my way and temptation to eat the whole slab in 5 minutes or less filled my mind , my instincts said "don't do it you've been so good rather bake cookies and share it" ... I know I know i'm such a good person (I think I ate 75% only) so I decided to make a white chocolate carrot cookie and it lasted 24 hours instead of 5 minutes . YAY! Let me tell you this must be the best cookie I have ever made which is so easy . I mean this will be perfect for last minute visitors or if the bf invited you to meet the parents and you want to bring something for brownie points but you need 90% of the time to go towards making yourself look gorgeous.

Home made Chocolate Sauce

Chocolate you beauty !! I know I am not the only one who has a slight obsession with chocolate , admit it?? So while browsing Pinterest a while back I saw this recipe and thought I just have to try it , while making it I had doubts no it wont be so great etc . But OH MY WORD it turned out great , now I have my sister asking me to send a few bottles to her on a monthly basis , I followed this recipe and it has just changed the way my fridge looks "hellooo chocolate factory" haha . I hope you enjoy it .

Its all about the simple things ..

For me life is all about the simple things , I mean the big achievements are great but the best part is the journey ,   you know when I started my blog a few short but sweet months ago I envisioned what it would be like at this point , I thought yay I'll have like 10 comments and 1000 people will visit and read my awesome posts per month and in my mind and heart I was like YAY but wow everything has been beyond amazing , like everything ! the learning , the comments the friendships and I have to say this has been such an amazing journey , I think that's why I love showing love to other bloggers , I want to send any readers on this blog their way even if its just for a day ,because I feel so truly blessed, so without further ado here are 3 new blogs for you to read xo

New Giveaway on the blog!

I have to say I am pretty fond of having ads on my timeline from readers/businesses/fellow bloggers and with Diva Desle's month coming to an end shortly :( I thought why not triple the giveaway , yip you heard me . Three Layered Chocolate Cake

For my moms birthday I decided to bake her a cake , she absolutely adores sweet treats and trust me this would be an amazing gesture for the whole family , there was no question in my mind I wanted it to be chocolate and it had to have some mousse dessert like filling , so I found this awesome recipe , and got me some filling , vanilla and chocolate instant pudding , I also decided to coat it with cocoa powder , it was amazing , the only let down was my one cake didn't bake to my perfection so I made it into a 3 layered cake (its meant to be 4 layers) and at the end of the post I will share how I made my instant pudding more mousse like ;)

With the cold season comes the.... colds and flu and that's exactly what I've been dealing with , however even with that this week has been pretty awesome , it was my moms birthday and that means cake ... and other than chicken soup what makes you feel better? cake !! I whipped up a pretty decent cake to I will be sharing more info on that in this week. Home remedies that actually work on breakouts

Boy oh boy I have been battling with my skin for like the last 2 months which has been something I never had to deal with , like no acne or breakouts when I was younger, I mean I would wash my face with baby cream and it looked pretty decent . Now my days are spent trying to hide the blemishes and nights are filled with trying to fix them and its exhausting and trust me I take my vitamins I eat pretty well I drink tons of water so I am pretty clueless as to why it is acting up with that said I know it could be far worse (Thank you Lord for blessing me with pretty decent skin I really don't want to come across as being ungrateful when I know others suffer way more than me) so I'm looking on the positive and this is what I've learned there are a few home remedies one can try that actually works way better than the toothpaste remedy.

Finding the perfect pizza base recipe for me has been a long long search I adore pizza most of my family moments, partying moments and girls talk time had pizza involved somewhere along the line, I like a more thin base , always have , always will, so when I finally found one recipe that is easy fast and perfect every single time, I knew I had to share it with you guys , I decided to double the amounts and freeze the dough for future use , how awesome is that ??

This week has kind of dragged for me but I guess its because I'v been waiting for the weekend , you know whenever you wait or look for something it takes forever or you just never find it . I remember this one time I had a hot date and I was looking for this grey bodycon skirt , I had even planned my day to the t , get home from work , face mask , do nails , long bath , glass of wine , do hair and get dressed ... and then NO SKIRT I searched everywhere closet , sisters closet , moms closet and nothing and had to find something totally new to wear next day I'm laying in bed and I notice my skirt is hung up in my closet staring at me , what was I talking about again ? oh this week dragged haha hope you guys had an awesome week . Blogging 101 : Best tip for avoiding bloggers block

Last weeks post we focused more on the niche of your blog so now since you finally (hopefully) pinned down your niche its time to be delivering those amazing posts day after day and its so easy , right? hah!!! not at all actually , I can see you nodding in agreement . 

That is actually the hardest part of blogging is finding the inspiration to write new posts there is those golden weeks where you can write 5 posts a day and then the (cue horror music) bloggers block sets in and you super stumped . Well here is my personal experience on the matter , I know this may sound contradictory to one post I wrote where I said read some of your favorite blogs to get inspired I meant read it like you would in the past pre blogging ,read a post and move on with your day,  let me tell you if you sit behind your computer reading posts after posts , trying to find inspiration on social media and reading your favorite blogs which 9/10 are those really successful amazing blogs with the perfect pictures and 187 comments ,honey you will feel overwhelmed. The best thing I can say is ....

This week really flew by actually let me just say this year is flying I mean hello June , I think its all the more reason to try new things whether its a new hairstyle or style or study or date. The last thing anyone wants is to ring in 2014 and look back and think damn what exactly did I do this year. So get out there and do something different I know I say it every weekend but I really hope you take my advice on this one.
